Our Own Definition
The definition of MilSim in Arma varies from community to community. Therefore, it is important for us that our interpretation is clearly formulated.
For us, MilSim in Arma stands for the simulation of military behavior and discipline, authentic military structures, and military tactics in the field.
Furthermore, MilSim means the portrayal of a unit for us. This implies that we always represent the same Chapter the Black Templar´s and strive to improve in this portrayal continuously.
In addition, we occasionally dive into the world of Warhammer 40K, where we apply similar discipline and tactics to simulate combat scenarios in this expansive universe. We´re playing Space Marines from the Chapter ´Black Templars´. We bring the same level of professionalism and immersion to Warhammer as we do in Arma.
To achieve this, we work with fixed positions, train regularly together, and invest a lot of time in integrating new members into our unit. Therefore, the primary goal of MilSim for us is to establish a professional and immersive environment. If this interests you, feel free to check out our recruitment center.
Our clan has an organized structure where every established member can, and eventually should, take on an important role. The hierarchy outside the game is intentionally kept flat, as we interact with each other on an equal footing. Every member of the Clan Council also has the opportunity to participate in voting, thereby influencing important decisions within the clan.
Warhammer 40K is a grimdark science-fiction universe set in the distant future, where humanity is engaged in a constant struggle for survival. In the 41st millennium, the galaxy is a war-torn place, dominated by brutal conflict between various factions.
The Imperium of Man, a vast human empire ruled by the immortal God-Emperor, fights against numerous threats: alien races like the savage Orks, the enigmatic Eldar, and the terrifying Tyranids; as well as the corrupting forces of Chaos, which seek to destroy reality itself. The setting is defined by its dark tone, where hope is scarce, and war is endless.
The Black Templars are a fanatical and crusading Space Marine Chapter in the Warhammer 40K Universe. Descendants of the Imperial Fists, they were founded after the Horus Heresy and have since waged an unending holy war in the name of the God-Emperor. Unlike other Space Marine Chapters, the Black Templars do not have a single home planet; instead, they travel the galaxy aboard massive fleets, launching crusades to purge heretics, xenos, and traitors.
Driven by unwavering faith, they reject the use of psykers and embrace strict codes of honor and zeal. Black Templars often fight in large numbers, far exceeding the standard size of a Space Marine Chapter, as they are constantly recruiting new warriors during their crusades. They are known for their fervent devotion to the Emperor, their black armor adorned with white crosses, and their preference for close-quarters combat with chainswords and power weapons.
For the Black Templars, there is no peace, only eternal war in service to the Emperor's divine will.
